A Fire Instructor III is a fire service instructor who, in addition to meeting Instructor II qualifications has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to:
- Develop comprehensive training curriculum and programs for use by single or multiple organizations
- Conduct organization needs analysis
- Develop training goals and implementation strategies
This is a 64 hour course that will provide you with the Advanced knowledge and all responsibilities of being an Fire Service instructor. Your foundation was established in Fire Instructor I, your structure was put together in Fire Instructor II, and now it is time to put together the finish product. As a Fire Instructor III you will learn the complete process of developing your own training programs and curriculum. This course will teach you to not just look at training from a teaching perspective but from the entire program and each class in more detail. This course follows NFPA 1041 and also covers many other NFPA Standards as well.
