Description
A Fire Instructor II is a fire service instructor who, in addition to meeting Instructor I qualifications has demonstrated the knowledge and ability to:
- Develop individual lesson plans for a specific topic including learning objectives, instructional aids, and evaluation instruments
- Schedule training sessions based on overall training plan of authority having jurisdiction
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of other instructors
This is a 48 course that will provide you with the Intermediate knowledge with increase responsibilities of being an Fire Service instructor. Your foundation was established in Fire Instructor I now it is time to take it to the next level. As a Fire Instructor II you will learn and play a key role in the preparation of the courses along withe stepping outside of teaching and learning more of the administrative role in the training program. This course follows NFPA 1041 and also covers many other NFPA Standards as well.
